Everybody loves a 6.5 Creedmoor
A few days ago, I took a brand new 6.5 Creedmoor built on an AR-10 platform to the range for the first time.
The rifle reinforced to me why so many people love the 6.5 Creedmoor. It took three rounds to zero the rifle and the first three round group measured just under half an inch. The range for all these shots was one hundred yards. I’m fairly sure that the rifle will do better than a half inch group. I put a low power optic on it for the range session and the scope reticle was obscuring the target dot. The best I could do was “cover the dot” with the reticle. That means my aiming points were not perfectly consistent.
